About the role
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for finance, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our valued clients by providing client relationship and account support, resolving client issues and be the first point of contact for both prospective and existing clients.
A wealth management client service associate provides administrative and operational support to financial advisors, assisting with client interactions, inquiries, and tasks, while also maintaining client records and building relationships. The client service associate will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities
Support Role: The Client service associate acts as an assistant to the operations manager and financial advisors, handling tasks that may or may not involve direct client interaction.
Account Administration: Set up and maintain client accounts, ensuring accurate paperwork completion and review of transactions and activity.
Client Support: Assist clients with requests, including money movement, distributions, and document retrieval.
Custodian Coordination: Communicate with custodian intermediaries (ie. Schwab) to ensure timely and accurate execution of client requests.
Onboarding Management: Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, including paperwork processing and account transfers.
Direct Client Communication: Provide ongoing support and guidance, ensuring a high level of customer service.
Operational Efficiency: Participate in operations meetings to enhance efficiencies and adopt new policies, procedures, and technologies to improve internal processes.
Relationship Building: Provide friendly phone support, greet clients, contribute to building and maintaining positive client relationships.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
MoneyGuidePro proficiency is a plus.
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience and interest in working with various types of technology.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Motivated, flexible, and a team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
