Overview
The Portfolio Administrator plays a crucial role in the financial services sector, focusing on the management and oversight of investment portfolios. This position requires a strong understanding of portfolio management systems, portfolio trading and investment research. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements while providing exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.

Duties

• Manage and oversee investment accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with investment managers to develop and implement portfolio strategies that align with client objectives.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to support investment decisions and optimize asset performance.
• Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance, including risk assessments and market trends.
• Liaise with the Team to address inquiries, provide updates, and enhance overall client satisfaction.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry and adjust practices accordingly.
• Assist in the training and development of junior staff members within the portfolio administration team.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A professional certifications (CFP, CFA or CPA are strongly preferred.)
• Proven experience working in financial planning and analysis, at least two years.
• Strong interest in investment markets.
• Understanding of custodial platforms (e.g., Fidelity); experience rebalancing portfolios preferred.
• Knowledge of individual income tax.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Advyzon or Orion is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients and prioritize tasks effectively.
