Under the supervision of the Controller, will provide treasury expertise and financial leadership including;
Banking relationships
Merchant account maintenance
Debt compliance
Investment, and portfolio performance analysis.
Conceptualizes, develops, and implements the processes and tools used to develop cash flow functions and forecasts.
Employs advanced quantitative / qualitative analytical techniques: financial, economic, and not-for-profit treasury protocol; with long-range comprehensive perspective when preparing, distributing, and presenting recurring financial analysis and ad-hoc reports at the request of senior management.
Ensure banking relationships are sound and compliant with covenant requirements.
Responsible for detailed review of Tampa General Hospital’s month-end cash results.
Works with departments to understand operational factors that affected profitability.
Assists Controller on internal controls improvements internally and/or across the organization.
Supervises project teams.
Baccalaureate degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or related field
Five (5) years of progressive treasury experience, with at least two (2) years in a lead or supervisor role.
Master’s degree preferred (MBA or related).
Experience in banking and treasury environment, conducting, and implementing financial/economic analysis, reinvestment portfolio monitoring, strategic cash forecast plans and data models.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills are required.
Proficiency with computer-based analytical and reporting tools such as spreadsheet and database applications.
