Position Summary

The Credit & Collections Analyst position performs application processing, credit review, financial analysis, and timely collection of outstanding accounts receivables in support of Milestone’s continued growth. This key role is customer facing and involves significant cross-functional collaboration.

 Essential Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales and potential customers and commercial teams to process credit applications
• Responsible for the implementation and adherence to company credit/collection policies, practices, and procedures
• Ensures effective handling of collection of delinquent accounts and investigating the credit risks of customers and suppliers.
• Minimize bad debt risk; maximize accounts receivable collection
• Drive desired customer payment behavior through calls, reports, and other forms of timely and insightful contact with customers.
• He/she also employs collection technique and negotiation to maximize cash flow and create a favorable financial relationship and customer experience.
• Analyze financial and credit information to recommend credit worthiness
• Manage and prioritize credit queue 
• Process credit increases and adjustments for existing customers
• Complete routine reviews of customer creditworthiness 
• Setup and maintain customer master files 

 Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit and collections/or risk management 
• Accounting or related industry experience is required
• Exceptional organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing conditions
• Proficiency with computer, including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
