Work with accounting to ensure claims reporting ties to cession statements, not just a recent claims
Coordinate with reinsurance and UW on any reinsurer/broker inquiries
Ensuring appropriate deductions and fees reflected on bdx’s
Claims Data Integrity
Verify complete and accurate information is captured (no missing claims dates, reserves, open/closed, etc.) on monthly claim reports. Correct any deficiencies.
Review ALAE and ensure appropriately recorded in the bdx’s and related systems
Random reviews of reserving changes as QA process
Monthly/Quarterly Claims Operations Reports (a few examples below)
By program, number of claims opened, closed, avg tail, etc.
Avg reserves current vs prior, etc.
Reinsurance audit coordination – reports, inquiries, reinsurance audit setup, etc.
Coordinate claims audits with 3rd party firms
Assist with IMS Claims module integration
Vendor setups, check processing and other claim related tasks
Maintain TPA contracts
Any other task necessary to advance the claims process or efficiency within Fortegra.
High School Diploma or equivalency required
1-2 years of administrative experience
Requires some knowledge of a specialized function or skill
Developing real trade craft and skills
Attentive to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient with Internet Explorer
